Inspiration
This scarf pattern was designed for my mom to match a shrug I had made her in the past. Along with the matching hat, it’s actually become one of her favorite knits since it is so warm and comfortable!
This simple scarf only uses half double crochets to create an interesting stitch pattern that perfectly combines warmth and style for this lovely scarf.
Materials
- 5 mm crochet hook
- 2 skeins of Quince and Co Phoebe (about 375 yards)
Size
6 feet by 5 inches

Gauge
20 hdc x 9 rows = 4”
Abbreviations
- Hdc: half double crochet
- Ch: chain stitch
- St: stitch

Directions
Row 1: Ch 24
Row 2: Ch 2, hdc in same st as the Ch 2, *skip next st, 2 hdc in next st*. Repeat from * to * until the end of the row
Repeat Row 2 until you reach Row 168 or the desired length.
